Caitlin Yorke Obituary, Gathering and Memorial Services

Caitlin Yorke Obituary, Death – Colchester East Hants Health Centre in Truro was the location where Christina “Chrissy” Helen Yorke, who was 51 years old, died away. She was surrounded by her family. She was happiest when she was wrapped up beneath a blanket on her couch, with her kitties in her lap, reading one of her many novels. Chrissy was an adventurer who never required much in the way of material things. She was completely content with her life. In her spare time, she enjoyed going on adventures with her sister, Amanda, such as exploring cemeteries and traveling on back roads.

Her favorite job was without a doubt working as an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor for VIPKids and with adults through Cambly. Aside from the many diverse jobs she had, including working for the Institute of Early Childhood Education and for the Sleep Apnea Clinic, she had a lot of varied employment. Through this, she was able to experience the world through the perspectives of other people, and she even had the opportunity to travel to certain locations and meet some of the people she had taught.

Her son, DJ Whitenect, her father, Jim Yorke (and his wife Patricia), her mother, Helen Morrell, her brother, Jim (and his wife Gillian), her sister, Amanda, her step-siblings, Mark Deyarmond (and his wife Jenna), Nicole Stavert (and her husband Jon), Tracy Morrell, and Stephanie Morrell, her brother-in-law, Rob Hatfield, her nephews, Hayden, Bradley, and Liam, her nieces, Lily, Mariah, and Leah, and a close friend, Leo May Puc, are among those who survive her.

In addition, she had a large number of cousins, aunts, and uncles that she cherished spending time with and who were aware of the fact that you meant the world to her. For her, her friends were everything, and she eagerly anticipated each and every visit and communication they sent her. Morena and Hei-mao, her cats, were the source of so much happiness for her, and we would be wrong not to mention them. Both of her maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as her daughter Caitlin, passed away before her. Her stepfather, Gary Morrell, also passed away previously.

Chrissy showed an extraordinary amount of strength in the face of every obstacle that was placed in front of her; she triumphed over them with dignity and elegant poise. During this past year, she was undoubtedly put to the test, and she has shown time and again what she was capable of. All of us are going to miss having her around. You have the option of making a contribution to a charity of your choosing in Chrissy’s honor.
