Dr. Haraway’s journey in veterinary medicine began at Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her veterinary degree in 2004. Her commitment to excellence brought her to the Animal Hospital y DovelLewis Emergency in Portland, Oregon, where she completed a one-year emergency and critical care internship. This experience laid the foundation for her expertise in emergency medicine, trauma and wound care.

Following her internship, Dr. Haraway continued to make a positive impact at Northwest Veterinary and Emergency Specialists in Portland until 2019, when she decided to move to Austin, Texas, to be closer to family. In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Haraway finds solace in recreational activities such as pampering Eli in his beloved lab, spending quality time with his family, and avid reading books, cooking, and playing musical instruments like the piano and violin. Nature also holds a special place in her heart, as she enjoys hiking with Eli by her side when the rivers are deemed safe.
