Graham Mortensen, Vice President of Auckland Car Club has died

The Auckland Automobile Club has received very sad news of the passing of Graham Mortensen known to many as “Morty”. Morty is a long-time motorsport volunteer and a valued member of the Auckland Automobile Club. Graham served on the executive committee for many years and was vice chairman. He devoted his time to the sport in a variety of roles including flag bearer, grounds secretary and manager. Morty is a life member of the club and was honored at the inaugural ceremony in 2015. Motorsport New Zealand also presented Graham with the Secretary of the Course D’Honneur award in 2022. His contribution for the Auckland Car Club and Motorsport will not be forgotten. We send our sincere condolences to his family and all those he has left behind.
