Jeffrey Hull Obituary, Death – In Memoriam: Dr. Jeffrey W. Hull, 77, a dedicated pediatrician and beloved member of the Decatur community, peacefully passed away on December 16, 2023. His Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM at First Bible Church, with Pastor Steve Bateman officiating. The visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Dr. Hull will find his final resting place at Roselawn Cemetery.

Dr. Hull is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Debbie, and their four sons: Andrew (Kathleen), John (Simone), Mark (Pam), and Matthew (Liv). His grandchildren, Eli, Jeffrey, Emory, Lillian, Mark Allen, and Wayland, brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his brother, Dr. Brian Hull (Nancy), and sister, Nancy Clough (David), both of Wichita Falls, Texas, along with several nieces and nephews.

Born on December 31, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Jeffrey W. Hull was a distinguished alumnus of the University of Texas and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston. A veteran, he served in both the Army and the Navy. Dr. Hull dedicated seven years to pediatric practice in Corpus Christi, Texas, before relocating to Decatur in 1991 to be closer to his wife’s family. He served the Decatur community for 25 years as a compassionate pediatrician.

The pallbearers for the service will be Andrew, John, Mark, and Matthew Hull, along with Wes Easley and Justin Knighten. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First Bible Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This reflects Dr. Hull’s unwavering commitment to his faith community and his passion for supporting the health and well-being of children, even beyond his medical practice.
