Kristen Kourafas Obituary, Death Notice and Service Information

Kristen Kourafas Obituary, Death – After a valiant fight against Dermatomyositis, Kristen (Daisy) Rose (Labrecque) Kourafas, who resided on Rabbit Road in Salisbury, Massachusetts, and formerly resided on Dawn Drive in Allenstown, New Hampshire, went away unexpectedly and peacefully. Her latter years were spent with her family and friends, where she was content and in good health. After leaving behind a life of which she was proud, she was finally at peace with herself. She was born on October 8th, 1985 in Manchester, New Hampshire to parents named Mark and Dawn (Girard) Labrecque. She spent her childhood in the family home, attended Pembrook Academy for her high school education, and received her cosmetology license from Continental Academie of Hair Design in Manchester.

She went on to have a job that she enjoyed working in as a stylist and barber. In her later years, she devoted her time to being a homemaker and taking care of the people and animals that she cherished. In addition to being the most dedicated wife, mother, daughter, pet parent, and friend on the face of the earth, Kristen was the epitome of complete and total caregiving. Everyone who ever had the opportunity to interact with her was left with a positive impression of her. She was a firecracker, as brilliant as the sun. At her happiest, she was in the company of her family and the natural environment.

She was able to overcome her drug addictions seven years ago because to the strength of her character, and she would hope that this gives hope to those who are battling with the same conditions. Her husband Andy Kourafas, her parents Mark and Dawn Labrecque, her sons CJ, Wes, Teddy, and Camden, her in-laws Ben and Laura Soussan, her sister and brother-in-law Amy and Ben Pepper, her niece and nephew Riley, Hannah, and Noah Pepper, her grandparents Leo and Yvette Labrecque and Joyce Colby, her best friend Jan Addabbo, her spoiled and loved dogs, Deets (dental-bop) and Crash (Bish bash), and her grandparents Donald and Henriette Girard have passed away. She is survived by her husband Andy Kourafas, her sons, and her in-laws.

The gathering will take place after the services, which will take place on Wednesday, January 3rd, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Roan Funeral Home in Suncook, New Hampshire. Please minimize your use of black and make an effort to avoid dressing “like someone died,” as Kristen has requested. She hopes that people would be able to cheer themselves up and laugh.
In memory of Kristen’s passion for animals and other creatures in need of care, memorial contributions can be donated to the Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord with the intention of honoring her.
