Although Michael’s father passed away before his birth, he was fortunate to have a loving mother who raised him alongside his five siblings: Sharon Robinson, Dottie Lynn Thacker, Pamela Adams, Judith Ann Robinson, and Samuel Don Robinson. Michael’s childhood was filled with cherished memories and the support of his family.

The community will gather to honor and remember Michael Robinson at Thacker Memorial Funeral Home. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a one-night service beginning at 7:00 PM. Additionally, there will be a viewing on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The funeral ceremonies, presided over by John George Blackburn, will take place on Friday, November 17, 2023. The chapel will open for visitation at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral at 1:00 PM. Michael will be laid to rest in the Annie E. Young Cemetery in Pikeville, Kentucky, a place that holds special significance to him and his loved ones.

Michael leaves behind cherished children, Crystal Sword and Nick Robinson, as well as grandchildren, Ethan Hamilton and Holton Robinson. He is also survived by his sister, Sally Jo Mullins, sister by heart, Tammy Stanley, chosen son, Steven Hamilton, and a loving host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Viewing and funeral services will be held at Thacker Memorial Funeral Home on November 15 and 16, 2023, with interment at the Annie E. Young Cemetery in Pikeville.
