Shane Mcgovern Obituary. Death – Without warning Shane J. McGovern, who was 28 years old, passed away at home. His parents, James and Louise (Bosquet) McGovern, both passed away before he was born. The devoted brother of Courtney McGovern, who resided in Halifax, he was also the cherished uncle of Maurice, Tiffany, Shyne, and Dace McGovern, all of whom also resided in Halifax. He is leaving behind a large number of very dear friends. Shane received his high school diploma from Silver Lake High School in Kingston.

He has been employed at L Knife & Son, Inc. in Kingston for the past few years, throughout which time he has been working toward acquiring his commercial driver’s license. Video games, fishing, and golfing were among his favorite activities, and he was enthusiastic about all sports. However, his sister Courtney was the most important person in his life, and he enjoyed spending time with his friends.

On Tuesday, January 3, from four o’clock to eight o’clock, there will be a visit held at the Davis Funeral & Cremation Home, which is located at 373 Court Street in Plymouth. At ten o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, January 4th, there will be a memorial service held at the funeral home. This will be followed by the burial in Halifax Central Cemetery, which is located at sixty Hemlock Lane in Halifax.
