Steve Roberts Obituary, Death Cause – Savannah mourns the loss of a beloved community figure as Stephen Patrick Roberts, affectionately known as Steve, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at the age of 68. Steve was the proud owner of Savannah Toyota, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to the local business landscape. His departure leaves a void not only in the automotive industry but also in the hearts of family, friends, and the broader Savannah community.

 Stephen Patrick Roberts (Steve), 68, of Savannah, owner of Savannah Toyota passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. He was at one of his favorite places, his farm. He loved spending time there with family and friends. Steve was born January 17, 1955, in Fort Worth Texas to the late Jo and Marcia Roberts. He grew up in Winter Park, Florida, and attended Trinity Preparatory School in Orlando and University of Central Florida.

After college he went to work for Southeast Toyota Corporate and moved to Savannah in 1989 to purchase Savannah Toyota. He is remembered for story telling, his attention to detail, willingness to step up when needed and hang back when appropriate, and most especially for his hospitality.  He was a man of strong faith and was passionate about supporting education.

Steve is survived by his wife Susan, his daughters Megan Rodenberg (Todd), Morgan Caldwell (Maclain), Sally Shay (Matthew), his grandchildren: Luke, James, Stephen, Benjamin, Caroline, Taylor, and Jack; and his sister Mollie Roberts and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was especially proud of his family. Born on January 17, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Jo and Marcia Roberts, Steve spent his formative years in Winter Park, Florida. His educational journey led him to Trinity Preparatory School in Orlando and the University of Central Florida.
