Toby Perna Obituary, Death – The world is diminished with the sudden passing of Toby-Ann Perna, aged 54, who left this life on December 17th, 2023, at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Born on July 3rd, 1969, in Kapuskasing, Ontario, to Ronald and Judy Trudel, Toby-Ann’s legacy is one of love, warmth, and a dedication to helping others.

In 1991, Toby-Ann relocated to Thunder Bay, where she eventually found her soulmate, Angelo Perna, in 2003. Their love blossomed, leading to a joyous marriage in 2005, marking the beginning of 18 years of shared companionship. Toby-Ann’s life was characterized by her thoughtfulness and unwavering commitment to aiding others. As the co-owner of Golden Bakery & Pizza Ltd and a proud Avon consultant, she demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit and compassion. Toby-Ann found solace and joy spending time at the camp in Shebandowan with family and friends.

Her love for singing and infectious energy made her the life of every gathering. Her warm smile and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Survived by her loving husband, Angelo Perna, and children Kiera (Bailey Alfieri) and Giuseppe (Pep), Toby-Ann is also remembered by her mother Judy Trudel, twin sisters Nadine Trudel and Francine Fortier (Mark), numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy, and her cherished pets Panda, Bella, Ronnie, Tiger, Olaf, and Fusion. She was predeceased by her father Ronald Trudel.

A viewing and prayers in memory of Toby-Ann will take place on Thursday, December 21st, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Everest-Westford Chapel (420 Gore St W, Thunder Bay, ON). A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, December 22nd at 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church (1019 Brown Street), followed by a reception at the Da Vinci Centre (340 Waterloo St. S).
