Vince peacefully departed in his sleep on Sunday, surrounded by his family, concluding a courageous battle with emphysema. A life member of the brigade, Vince devoted an astounding 46 years in service, leaving an indelible mark on the OTH CFS community.

Vince’s commitment to the brigade was unparalleled, notably serving as Captain from 1991 to 1999 and later as the OTH CFS President from 1999 to 2007. His leadership during these years was marked by resilience, dedication, and a genuine passion for community safety. In addition to his administrative roles, Vince was an inspiration to his fellow brigade members, consistently embodying the spirit of selflessness and bravery that defines the firefighting community. His legacy is woven into the very fabric of the OTH CFS, and his contributions will be remembered for generations to come.

Funeral arrangements have been made to honor Vince’s memory on Wednesday, 3rd January 2024, at 2 pm at Harrison Funerals, located at 63 Golden Grove Rd, Ridgehaven.
