Wayne Jester Obituary, Death – On Sunday, December 3, 2023, Wayne Burris Jester, who was 88 years old at the time, was reunited with Cynthia Kirk Jester, the lady who had been the love of his life. This event took place in the year 2023. She had been anticipating his arrival in paradise for close to ten years while she waited for him. Both of Wayne Jester’s parents, Delmas William Jester, Sr. and Maude Miller Jester, had passed away before to his birth on July 26, 1935 in Quinby, Virginia. Wayne Jester was the son of both these individuals. It was after Wayne and Cynthia had finished their high school education that they decided to get married and begin their journey together as husband and wife, which has lasted for 59 years.

Having spent twenty years working as the personnel director for Perdue Farms, Wayne started his career in the insurance market by working as an agent for Home Beneficial, which is now known as AIG. This was the beginning of his association with the insurance industry. He had a profound love for the neighborhood that he resided in on the Eastern Shore, and he was deeply committed to assisting those who were in need. Because he was always willing to assist, regardless of the hour, Wayne was the “go to” guy for Carlisle and Tommy Williams at Williams Funeral Home for a number of years. This was due to the fact that he was always willing to help.

This was the situation for a considerable amount of time. He continued to be involved in a wide number of local civic groups, all of which he served in a variety of different capacities, and he was a member of Melfa United Methodist Church for a considerable amount of time. Other organizations that he served included community organizations. Throughout their careers, Wayne and Cynthia put in a lot of effort (and also put in a lot of play) with the idea of retiring so that they could spend time with their families and travel. They were successful in reaching this objective of retiring so that they could travel and spend time with their family.

In addition to his wife and parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brothers, specifically Delmas W. Jester, Jr. and his wife, Vanette, and Maurice Jester and his wife, Emily. Both of his brothers were married to women. His brothers were married to each other, and they were two brothers. His children, Wayne “Kirk” Jester and his wife Carol, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Deborah Anne “Debbie” Jester of Onancock, Virginia; and Lisa “Michele” Stow and her husband, Mark, of Clemmons, North Carolina; his grandchildren, Dustin Jester, Ashley Moore, Courtney Winstead, and Mallory Williams; his great-grandchildren, Berkley Moore, Shelby Moore, Hunter Winstead, Caroline Winstead, Paige Winstead, and Cooper Williams; and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as their families, are among those who survive him.
